Wachowskis Cast Sean Bean for Han Solo Role in 'Jupiter Ascending' Feb 6th 2013, 03:00 Speaking of Star Wars… but not really. Or maybe? Some interesting casting for one of my most anticipated sci-fi projects in the work has just arrived courtesy of Deadline. They report that fan favorite actor Sean Bean, last seen in “Game of Thrones” as Ned Stark, “Missing” and Silent Hill: Revelation 3D, has scored a major role in the Wachowski sci-fi film Jupiter Ascending. The ambitious futuristic feature is already set to star Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis, but more great actors keep getting adding to the cast list. Eddie Redmayne also recently joined, but now Bean is the latest to land what seems to be a key role in this sci-fi. The casting news mentions this statement: “Bean will play Stinger, a Han Solo-type character written older than co-star Channing Tatum.” Ah, so what do we have here?
