John Williams Sounds Likely to Return for the New 'Star Wars' Trilogy

He’s returning again to the galaxy far, far away. We’ve been waiting to hear details about who George Lucas might be wrangling up for the new Star Wars trilogy starting in 2015, with confirmation just last week that Harrison Ford will be back as Solo. Sorry fans of Michael Giacchino hoping that with J.J. Abrams directing he might get him to take over, it sounds like composer John Williams (with Lincoln nominated this year) is excited to return to score more Star Wars, as it’s his theme that is so memorable and it only makes sense. The news comes from an opening quote Williams gave just before playing the Star Wars theme at the Young Musician’s Foundation Debut Orchestra last night (via ComingSoon) confirming his interest in doing more.
