In case you don’t have any musically inclined or hipster friends, vinyl records are all the rage right now. With a richer sound and vintage style, vinyl has become a popular format again for people who love music. And while some of my favorite music comes in the form of motion picture scores, I have to admit that I’m a little shocked and confused by a certain blockbuster sci-fi film score getting a limited edition vinyl release. Soundtrack.net (via The Playlist) has some details on a double LP limited edition release of John Williams’ Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace score, complete with special color versions.
