Though he’ll be making a quick trip back to Middle Earth reprising his role of Frodo Baggins in a cameo in Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit trilogy, Elijah Wood has mostly shed his on-screen hobbit persona and has moved on to other projects. He’s starring in the FX comedy series “Wilfred,” plays a psycho killer in the remake of Maniac, and now has taken the lead role in a comedy called The Late Bloomer based on an amazing true story. He’s also been busy on the business side of things, as Deadline reports the actor has formed a new production company called The Woodshed focusing on indie horror and genre films. Cool!
